III. The Theme: Bounce back from setbacks

“A lesson for all of us is that for every loss, there is victory, for every sadness, there is joy, and when you think you’ve lost everything, there is hope.” Geraldine Solon

“Fall seven times, stand up eight.” – Japanese Proverb

“From devastation to restoration, we will stand by you through life’s ups and downs” – Pioneer Your Insurance

The Filipino spirit is borne out of a culture deeply rooted in our beliefs and religiosity, which enables us to hope even in times of great despair and loss. We learn stories of hope every day, as they are shared in media, expressed by friends, or played out in our own lives. These often touch our hearts and inspire us to look for that silver lining, and realize that new and brighter times may just be around the corner.

What’s your take on resiliency? Tell us through an inspiring song that will run for 3 1/2 minutes or less.

Put your songwriting skills to use! Be unique and creative!
